Beeple’s art buyer’s name disclosed: Mystery solved

MetaKovan (real name Vignesh Sundaresan), after remaining anonymous for quite some time decided to disclose his identity today. Who is he? Well, he is the buyer of Beeple’s $69 NFT (Everydays: The First 5000 Days) in the auction sale held by Christie. But that’s not it. He also founded the NFT fund Metapurse and is an active cryptocurrency user. He is also behind a cryptocurrency exchange, such as Coins-e. He is also behind BitAccess, a cryptocurrency ATM.

MetaKovan runs his fund along with Twobadour (Ananda Venkateswaran) and has created a name for themselves. He released a press release with the auction home, Christie revealing his identity. He mentioned that he wanted to show the global financial is changing, and India is becoming a powerhouse.  

He also announced a Metapurse Fellowship (5), for writers and content creators who will write on the alliance of NFT tech, art, and financial terminologies. These fellowships will be $100,000 and will be provided in monthly reimbursements.
