Coinbase asks for a singular cryptocurrency regulator

Coinbase executive Brian Armstrong asks for a singular cryptocurrency regulator in the US. According to him, different regulatory bodies have different notions and attitudes about these cryptocurrencies.

In the USA alone, there’s CFTC (Commodity Futures Trading Commission), SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission), and of course, the treasury. They have different rules and regulations, following all of them is a bit preposterous. And there are other regulators as well.

He thinks that it will be beneficial for everyone involved to have a consolidated body regarding cryptocurrency regulation.
