Should DogeCoin’s transaction fee be lowered?

For quite some time, people have been asking for a reduction in transaction fees related to DogeCoin.  Now, Elon Musk also has the same opinion on this matter, and he proposed a change in one of his tweets. Patrick Lodder, a DogeCoin developer, has recently proposed to lower the transaction fees to 0.01 DOGE to offer convenience and stay ahead of the competition.

According to his observations, the current transactional price is pretty huge, and it can be demotivating to investors. The transaction fee is now five times higher than Litecoins. The price cut will favor Dogecoin, and it can boost its price from the current $0.256.
