Latest News Twitter adds Ethereum-based tipping system By AtoZcrypto Posted on February 17, 2022 1 min read 0 7 1,682 In a previous move, Twitter allowed users to send in tips using BItcoins. This was in September. But now, users may also employ Ethereum addresses, according to the latest announcement from the company officials. This explains that Twitter is trying to explore the Ethereum network and cryptocurrencies in general. The company has its NFT-based payment system for verified Twitter Blue Subscribers, and other internal procedures as well. However, this functionality does not support Ethereum Name Service (ENS), yet. But people can tip with ETH and ERC-20 tokens (including Stablecoins). The tipping mechanism will gradually evolve, incorporating more Twitter users, especially those based in India, Ghana, and Nigeria.
