Unfortunately, in June, the DAO was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/dao-attacked-code-issue-leads-60-million-ether-theft\/\">hacked<\/a>\u00a0and $60 million worth of Ether was stolen.<\/p>\n<p>The Ethereum community held a vote where the majority agreed to change Ethereum\u2019s code to get the funds back to investors. This will ultimately allow users to effortlessly experience blockchain\u2019s benefits.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Capped Volume<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Ethereum Classic instituted an\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ecip1017.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ECIP 1017<\/a>\u00a0monetary policy end 2017.
