Animoca Brands: A Rising Star in the Community

Animoca Brands is a name well-known in the community, known mainly for in the circles of NFTs and Metaverse-related projects. This company raised almost $360 million in a round last year, at the valuation of $2.2 billion.

In this round, the company has had doubled it’s value within a period of less than three months. This round was led by Liberty City Ventures, followed by Winklevoss Capital, Soros Fund Management, and 10T Holdings.

The funds will be used during acquisitions, and further investments, acquiring licenses and developing products. The company boasts of different NFT-related projects, Axis Infinity, Dapper Labs, NBA Top Shot, OpenSea, and the game, The Sandbox.

Animoca, itself, has invested $8 million on Burnt Finance, a platform based on NFTs, and Solana.
