According to Kris Marszalek, Crypto.com’s CEO, this is a historic and mature decision for the cryptocurrency industry. This sponsorship deal happened when the company announced that it is returning to the F1 arena after 61 years. This is not the first time when crypto industry tied up with big names in sports. This is done mainly to increase a brand’s reach, recognition, and awareness.
During the time of signing the deal, Crypto.com has achieved a milestone of having more than 10 million users.
Aston Martin will participate in more crypto-based activities with its partner. These activities will be centered around NFTs, and other modern digital currencies, according to Jefferson Slack, Aston Martin’s Managing Director.
