SpaceX accepts DogeCoin for the first time

Elon Musk’s SpaceX program started accepting Dogecoins as a payment method for the very first time. Canada-based Geometric Energy Corp paid for a lunar satellite that will make its journey towards the Moon during the first quarter of 2022. This will be the first-ever commercial satellite that is paid for in DogeCoins. This is known as Doge-1 Mission to the Moon.

It will include advanced sensors and instruments that are used for advanced communication. The Vice President of the Commercial Sales Section, Tom Ochinero mentioned that he is quite ecstatic about the program.

This is a new step for DogeCoin; however, it is a well-known fact that Elon Musk is its prime propagandist. His tweets about this meme-based currency are instrumental in accelerating its price, as seen from the graphs of the last year.
