JP Morgan is known for producing quality research studies regarding Blockchain and financial products. Now, it has developed the QKD system to protect a business’s network from quantum computing threats and insecurities.

QKD employs quantum computing and cryptography for data exchange and eavesdropping from third parties. For this, JP Morgan has partnered with Toshiba and Ciena to develop this system. JP Morgan says there’s mathematical proof of this system’s efficiency.

Metropolitan areas are chosen for running this research. This system can handle data transfer rates up to 800 Gbps, including highly sensitive data and applications. JP Morgan believes that this system will be prevalent shortly.
